Good Bread is a bakery located in Kyiv, Ukraine that was started in 2017.
Good Bread was started to be an inclusive bakery. Their mission was to hire people with mental disabilities that typically can't find work.
Until 2022, Good Bread operated just as any other business in Kyiv. When full-scale war broke out, they began to bake and gave away loaves of bread, in total of 500,000 loaves. Becoming more than just a charity for those with mental disabilities but as a provider of hundreds of thousands people displaced within Ukraine, people on frontlines, and others who are living in a war zone.
