Royal Ball

Thank you to everyone who showed up for the ball! We hope you had a great time listening to the lovely violin music from Galina and the Magic Violins! As well as participating in the activities (flower crown making, egg "dyeing," photobooths, friendship bracelets, and tile painting)!

(If you or your child is interested in taking violin lessons give Galina Timofeev a call at (423)946-8898!! Galina is a member of American Music Teacher Association.

Proceeds from the ball benefitted Ukrainian refugees in the East Tennessee region and Vols for Ukraine. Vols for Ukraine offers assistance by helping refugee families in need with rent, bills, food, clothing, furniture, other necessities, and even with music lessons for refugee children.

We were able to raise $460 through ticket sales and donations at the event!

We were unable to find sponsorship to help pay for the event expenses and so are paying for the event ourselves. We were hoping that all proceeds would be able to be granted to Vols for Ukraine. We are pledging at least $200 will be granted.

Our president is trying to resell items we bought for the event on Facebook Marketplace to help reimburse her for paying for the event. We also hope to join in community garage sales and fairs to also try to give items used (and not used) as decor/etc. as donation gifts to help pay for the event. We want to try to make it so that it is less of an expense to our president and therefore more than $200 can be granted to help Ukrainian refugees in East Tennessee through Vols for Ukraine!

We tell you all of this because of our value of being transparent with how your donations are being used. We hope all can understand and if you are interested in any items that you saw at the ball, email us and we can let you know if it is available and what our suggested donation amount is for the item(s)!
